Aysegul has released a solo piano album entitled “Dances through the Keyboard” in the beginning of 2016. The album contains dance forms by composers like J.S. Bach, Chopin, and Debussy. Right after, she has performed CD release recitals: at the Stevens Institute of Technology, New Jersey; Saturday Concerts at the Pera Palas-Jumeirah in Istanbul; and, Ankara Palas in Ankara.

On April 2016, Dr. Durakoglu was featured as a pianist-performer at the Shannon Effect, pioneering collaboration between artists and technologists to celebrate the centennialof Claude Shannon’s birth at the Bell Labs Technologies.
