On June 25, Aysegul presented a special performance program, Dances through the Keyboard and Tap, with the reknown tap-dancer Michela Marino Lerman at Drom-New York City. The program consisted of dance forms by Chopin, Debussy, and George Gershwin.

On April 28, Aysegul Durakoglu participated in the CMS’ National Conference at the Capilano University in Vancouver, Canada. She presented a lecture-recital on the piano music of Friedrich Nietzche.

On April 10, Aysegul Durakoglu joined the American Poet, Edward Foster, in a Music and Poetry event at Drom-New York City. The program was organized to celebrate the publication of Foster’s new book, Sowing the Wind. Aysegul performed works by Franz Liszt, Frederic Chopin, and poems by Scriabin.
